Overview:

We are seeking dedicated and skilled professionals to join our multidisciplinary assessment team. This team is responsible for conducting comprehensive evaluations for individuals with ADHD, autism and SLD, collaborating to provide tailored support and recommendations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Assessments: Administer and interpret standardised assessments, behavioural evaluations, and observational methods for individuals suspected of having ADHD and autism.

  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educators to gather comprehensive data.

  • Develop Reports: Create detailed assessment reports that summarise findings, diagnoses, and recommendations for intervention and support.

  • Engage with Families: Communicate assessment results and recommendations effectively to families, ensuring they understand the implications and next steps.

  • Provide Recommendations: Contribute to the development of individualised support and behavioural intervention plans based on assessment findings.

  • Participate in Training: Attend and contribute to team meetings, training sessions, and workshops to enhance assessment practices and stay current with best practices.

  • Advocate for Clients: Support clients and their families in accessing resources and services within the community.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Specialist degree in e.g. Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language, special education, or a related field; relevant licensure or certification essential.

  • Experience: Experience of working with individuals with ADHD and autism, including conducting assessments.

  • Skills: Strong analytical and observational skills; excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

  • Knowledge: Familiarity with assessment tools and methodologies specific to ADHD and autism; understanding of neurodiversity principles.
