FAQs
What is a psychoeducational assessment?
A psychoeducational assessment is an educational assessment to gain an in depth understanding of a student's learning and potential to learn. Think of it as a structured evaluation of a child's intellectual, social and emotional development.
How could a psychoeducational assessment help my child?
By pinpointing the way in which a child learns and where their difficulties lie, those around the child can make adjustments to their teaching and support.
How might the results from the assessments help?
When a child finds elements of learning difficult, it can really damage their self-esteem. By giving them and those around them the tools to understand how to approach their learning, their confidence will increase too.
